Two-channel, multi-screen video object.
Description:
Five computer monitors are superposed vertically in a black metal construction (dimension: 204 x 39,5 x 7,5 cm). On all screens the same video loop is playing: close up shots of a belly area of the body, while a woman is hula hooping. On the lower three screens, video images are rolling upwards (in vertical hold effect), while upper two are rolling downwards.
The video object represents a female-time-organism, a Perpetuum mobile driven by human (women’s) energy and agency. Woman is not to stop because the time is running and the reflected time and action is getting back.
