About the
Artist

Kristina Horvat Blažinović is a multimedia artist based in Zagreb, Croatia, working across video installation, painting, watercolour, and performance since 2000.

Her practice spans twenty-five years and engages with questions of the body, movement, memory, and identity. Working in video installation, performance, watercolour, and mixed media, her work has been presented in galleries and institutions across Croatia and internationally.

Alongside her artistic practice, she teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb, where she works with students in visual arts and multimedia. Her dual role as practitioner and educator informs both her own research and the ways she thinks about visual culture.
